At SEB we are embarking on an exciting tech transformation journey and are seeking a talented, motivated and security aware Platform Engineer to join our Web Application Firewall Team. If you have a passion for infrastructure development & maintenance, and the desire to work on cutting-edge technology solutions in a dynamic environment on Cloud platforms, on-premises at SEB, and hybrids there between, we want to hear from you.

About the role:

As a Platform Engineer in the WAF team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to, optimizing and managing our enterprise security layers for applications at SEB. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals to ensure seamless development, management, troubleshooting, and integration. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in maintaining the security, stability and performance of our systems.

Key responsibilities:

· Implement and maintain security layer solutions for applications.

· Ensure reliable operations.

· Continuously identify opportunities for innovation.

· Troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.

· Be part of on-call rotation outside office hours.

· Ensure compliance.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

· Experience with WAF and/or load balancing, preferably using F5 products

· Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving experience

· Network knowhow

· Security awareness

· See Cloud technologies as an opportunity

· A habit to ideate, prototype and verify several solutions both individually and in group to determine a great solution

· Communication skills in Swedish and English
