Product Designer

As a Product Designer, you are responsible for applying the appropriate visual and functional skills to articulate brand and value propositions into product design concepts. Your task is to support design development for a new platform in Dish/Fabric Care for Electrolux and AEG. You will be part of the Care team, supporting with 3D, sketches/renders for the development of the products.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Work in a collaborative way in the Design creation
• Interfacing with the other competences in the Design department such as UI, PGD, CMF and Usability, and outside Design as PL/R&D/Mkt
• Support the design project leader with 3D sketches/renderings that explain the concept to our main stakeholders

Position requirement:

Documented knowledge of Product design work, ability to work with 3D software, understanding of technical drawings and ability to interact and negotiate design concepts with R&D.

Knowledge, skills and abilities requires:

• Good presentation skills and product knowledge
• 3D design softwares Alias or Rhino, Rendering, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Manufacturing/engineering knowledge
• Good understanding of technical drawings and ability to interact and negotiate design concepts with R&D
• Previous knowledge of Appliances is a plus

About the position:

This is a temporary assignment from the 2nd of May 2019 to the 1st of January 2020. You will be positioned at the Headquarters of Electrolux in Stadshagen, Stockholm.
