Frontline Solutions has the responsibility for solutions supporting customer service functions and CRM functions. Customer focus is one of the three strategic focus areas in Business area Private within If. The target for the unit is to support the strategic initiatives in improving our customer service capabilities, customer communication and reaching increased customer satisfaction. Target is to adapt the solution portfolio with the overall roadmap for Nordic IT solutions. The key focus for the coming years will be to select future front line tool and start implementation, consolidation of CRM back end solutions and development of big data solutions and marketing automation.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst with strong social skills and ability to facilitate the overall Frontline Solutions requirements collection and definition. You will be a key person in capturing, consolidating and communicating information and requirements from subject matter specialists and business stakeholders in a way that IT teams can understand.


  • Capture, consolidate and communicate business requirements to IT teams within the Frontline Solutions area

  • Initiate, facilitate and lead the collection and definition of requirements with Customer Service and CRM subject matter specialists and business stakeholders

  • Be a vital part of Customer service and CRM-related projects, proof-of-concepts and prestudies

  • Identify key business and customer behaviors

  • Drive change processes and take part in future planning and analysis

  • Analyze requirements to identify impact and gaps

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong communicator with proven skills of capturing, creating and communicating precise requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter specialists to IT teams

  • Agile experience working with User stories and acceptance criteria

  • Highly skilled in working with different stakeholders to create a common agenda, build relations and be a good listener

  • High level technical understanding of how architectural decisions affect the result

  • MS Office tools experience required including MS Visio

  • Preferably experience with UML and wire framing tools

  • Preferably experience and knowledge from IT projects within the CRM area, including omni-channel customer communication

  • Preferably Agile Product Owner certification

  • Preferably experience working with product backlogs in Jira or TFS

  • University degree in relevant area

You are self-driven, but balance this with good co-operation skills. A strong interest for driving changes, understanding business needs and building relations is required. You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.

This Nordic Functional analyst will report to Development Manager for CRM Solutions. You will be based in either one location of Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden) or Turku (Finland) and you’ll report to the Nordic Head of CRM solutions development.
