Accountant

To support our fantastic growth, we are looking for an ambitious accountant that truly wants to make a difference. This is a brand new role at Gears of Leo and the right candidate will have a fantastic possibility of growing and developing with us! As support, you will have close contact with our accounting firm as well as our fantastic finance team based in our Malta-office.

As our Accountant you will work independently with a broad array of tasks within the accounting domain.

You will be responsible for:

• Accounts payable and payment of supplier invoices
• Bookkeeping & making monthly financial statements
• Handling employee expenses
• Liaising with our accounting firm
• Managing the company's VAT and employer's declaration
• Managing questions from employees regarding expenses and salaries
• Assisting the Finance Department (Malta) with any financial reports needed from Sweden
• Gradually incorporate a digital structure
• Liaising with HR for payroll

Qualifications

• Worked 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably as a consultant
• Working knowledge of current accounts and monthly financial statements
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable
• Fluent in English & Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ambitious, accurate & self-starter
• Enjoys working independently
