The Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) function is driving the deployment of advanced financial crime prevention capabilities to continuously meet regulatory expectations and to be at the forefront of fighting financial crime.
We are currently looking for a Head of Fraud Prevention to join the Fraud Management team within the FCP function.
About the job
SEB’s fraud prevention efforts are aimed at protecting SEB customers and the bank against fraud and at the same time collaborate with external actors to mitigate the fraud seen in the society.
SEB has a central Fraud Management organization that works with fraud prevention, detection, and response. As Head of Fraud Prevention, you will lead a highly motivated and top-performing team of fraud prevention and detection specialists and be part of the Fraud Management leader team. Your main responsibility will be to drive and facilitate the fraud prevention and detection agenda and to drive change initiatives to further accelerate SEB's target to be best-in-class within the fraud prevention space. Collaboration with relevant business areas and other financial crimes teams as well as external actors are part of the core tasks.
Who are you?
We are looking for an individual who is open, engaged and curious, paired together with a strong interest in people and in different perspectives. You probably have a couple of years of relevant experience working on financial crime-related issues, preferably within the fraud realm, and as such have created a deep understanding of the underlying methods to efficiently prevent and detect fraud. Additionally, you have a good understanding of a bank’s ecosystem of products and services, which guides you in what is most important from a fraud perspective. Furthermore, you work actively to create an inclusive and engaging work environment for you, your team, and your peers, alongside driving a communicative and feedback-driven culture. Also:
- You are comfortable and enjoy presenting to various audiences in both English and Swedish
- You have a very high sense of integrity, as the role is exposed to sensitive information
- You are a genuine team player and derive energy from a dynamic way of working
