Senior Program Manager (all genders)

Valtech is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team. Do you have a proven track record in managing complex digital programs consisting of several development streams? A day in the life of a Senior Program Manager

As a Senior Program Manager, you will mainly be responsible for the successful delivery of programs for our clients. On a day-to-day basis, you will be coordinating with the customer and the Valtech team, ensuring a clear focus on the program objectives while keeping project quality, risks and financials healthy.

In addition, you will:

• Develop comprehensive program plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Monitor program progress, track milestones and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables using methodologies like SAFe or LeSS.
• Keep the balance between caring about your project team’s needs and your client’s needs and find creative solutions while acting as the primary point of contact for program-related matters.
• Provide regular updates and reports to clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
• Ensure team members are aligned with program goals and have the necessary resources to succeed.
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within programs and propose strategic initiatives.
• Manage and monitor program budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.

You and the role

You are someone with at least 8 years of experience in the field of Program Management. Taking the lead, making decisions and proactively setting things in motion are things that you feel comfortable doing.

We would love if you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex development programs within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Gained most of your experience in a company providing digital services like an agency of consultancy with projects focus on digital projects and initiatives.
• A high interest in industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into program planning and execution.
• Experiences ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• SAFEe, LeSS, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Experience from the automotive, retail or B2B domains is a plus.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of German contract law.
• Excellent German and English communication skills both written and verbal
