Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at DHL Global Forwarding in Stockholm/Rosersberg. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the option for a hybrid work setup.

Purpose of the role:

As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a crucial role within our finance team. You'll provide timely and accurate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders, contributing directly to our business success. We recognize compliance as our competitive advantage, and your role will be central to this.

What you will be doing:

• Perform monthly accounting tasks, such as closing, GL entries, and calculation of bookings
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage external reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency, Swedish Statistics Authority, and others
• Communicate with external auditors, providing necessary information and answering queries
• Work closely with our Shared Service Center on accounting matters, accounts payable, and intercompany transactions
• Improve processes based on best practice and feedback from the Global to meet KPIs
• Provide finance support to colleagues across different departments

Who We Are Looking For:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or other relevant Finance education
• 2+ years of experience in a financial role, audit is a plus
• Full proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency in English good level of Swedish
• A mindset of taking ownership of your work and being keen on solving challenges
• An understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
