We have an exciting opportunity for a Global e-Mobility Safety Manager to join Scania´s global SHE organisation. The organisation has focus on governance and support within the field of HSE on corporate, global, and local levels – a world-wide scope for all businesses. The head office is located in Södertälje but the organization is represented at the production sites in Oskarshamn, Luleå, within Zwolle in the Netherlands and Angers in France.

Position Overview

You will have the leading role at Scania in the field of Electrical safety connected to battery electrical vehicles from a work environment perspective. Guiding with governance structure and follow up compliance in the global electrical organisation. But also hold a role as a senior health and Safety Engineer in issues regarding Governance Safety.

Some of the main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and strengthen the electrical organisation through cross-functional collaboration and engagement with stakeholders, towards Our vision Scania Care – Zero Harm.
• Provide expert knowledge and support in compliance with current legislation, policy and methods together with the stakeholders ensuring adherence to relevant methods etc.
• Develop trainings and education together with Scania Academy to strengthen the competence in the electrical organisation.
• Develop global guidelines
• Participate in group wide networks
• Monitor and evaluate, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of the Integrated Management System (ISO 45001).
• Support in risk assessments methods, root cause analysis for accidents or incidents etc and perform trainings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Support the organisation within the area Health and Safety from a Health and safety Engineer perspective

Qualifications

• Preferably a Bachelor degree in the field relevant for the position
• Senior experience as a Health and Safety Engineer
• Solid experience in Electrical Safety, preferably in SS-EN-50110
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Solid experience of forming an organization.
• Strong competence in Swedish Health & Safety legislation
• Fluent in Swedish and English
