We are within Traton creating a Global Industrial Operations organisation and for powertrain development we will use our RnD sites in Södertälje, Nuremberg and Lisle to develop and intergrate Tratons future powertrains. As an expat located at the Nuremberg site you will be a key player in that collaboration. In Nuremberg there will be both development and integration of the CBE1 engine, the CBE1 Update(EU7) engine and Hydrogen combustion engines that are controlled with CEM1.
Your TaskYour task is to support MAN and Scania in the collaboration to develop and intergrate the future powertrains. MAN perform calibration, testing, verification and have their production for these engines down in Nuremberg and they will need support and further development of our engine control systems in order to perform their work. The expat assignment is a broad role that can include various tasks such as SW development, calibration, tools support and help when setting up a new engine in test cell or when production will start to perform some tests. In many cases you will also be a link between Scania engineers and MAN engineers when a change or support is needed from either of the sites.
Your ProfileWe seek someone that wants to try on an exciting assignment in Germany with the ambition to make the collaboration between Scania and MAN as successful as possible. You should be driven and enjoy working in an international environment. You should have a background within SW-development and have good knowledge about the engine management system. It is preferable if you have good knowledge about the interfaces for the engine control system such as CAN-communication and I/O.
