Pricing ManagerThe department Revenue Management - Pricing's mission is to drive strategic and tactical pricing, design and development of price concepts and campaigns, as well as secure collaboration with other units within Commercial and selected SAS partners.
We are looking for a person who will be responsible for pricing on a part of the SAS network & for selected ancillary products. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing revenue streams. The position involves close cooperation internally within Revenue Management - Pricing as well as coordination with other commercial units within SAS, especially Revenue Management, Global Sales, Network & the ancillary team. The position is based in Stockholm, Frösundavik.
• In close cooperation with Revenue Management and Sales, Pricing is responsible for ensuring optimal price structures in relevant geographical areas
• Develop and implement pricing strategies for ancillary products and services to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Contact person in pricing for Sales, for the markets for which you are responsible.
• Represent Pricing in various forums, such as market meetings and line meetings.
• Participate in, or run projects within Pricing and with other relevant units within SAS, such as, but not restricted to, Revenue Management.
• Responsible for tactical pricing, such as campaigns and pricing tests.
• Follow-up and analysis of commercial activities.
• Identify improvement areas in pricing and drive the implementation of these changes.
• Collaboration with the units that handle partner relations.
• Responsible for price structures and development, for a predefined number of price concepts.
Qualifications and experience:
• Education at university level (preferably technical, economical or mathematical major).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to make conclusions from complex sets of data and make clear recommendations.
• Good insight into commercial issues and contexts.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and very good knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Completely fluent English in speech and writing.
• Preferably fluent in any Scandinavian language
Personal qualities:
• Result oriented with good commercial and strategic understanding as well as a holistic view of complex problems.
• High degree of social skills and very good in communicating findings (analysis, reports etc.) in a structured and easy to understand way.
• Independent with the ability to take own initiatives and prioritize own agenda in accordance to what is best for SAS.
• Ability to think “out of the box” and to try to find new and improved ways of working.
