About the job
Treasury Specialist

Hedin Mobility Group is looking for a Treasury Specialistto support the Group’s daily treasury activities and help develop efficient processes for cash, liquidity and financial risk management across our international operations.

Reporting to the Group Treasury Director, you will work closely with Group Treasury, local finance teams and banking partners. This is a hands-on specialist role for someone with a few years of relevant experience who wants to broaden their treasury expertise and take on increasing responsibility.

Your responsibilities

You will contribute to the following areas, working within the Group’s treasury policies and delegated authority:

  • Cash and liquidity management
Monitor cash balances and liquidity across the Group. Coordinate daily cash positioning, cash pooling and intercompany funding, and support the administration of bank accounts and payment processes.

  • Liquidity planning and forecasting
Prepare and consolidate short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts with local finance teams. Analyse actual cash flows against forecasts and highlight potential funding needs or surplus liquidity.

  • FX and interest rate risk management
Monitor currency and interest rate exposures and prepare analyses to support hedging decisions. Support the execution, documentation and follow-up of approved hedging transactions in line with Group policies.

  • Trade and working capital management
Work with local teams to analyse inventory and identify opportunities to improve cash conversion. Support the administration of inventory and floorplan financing, and the follow-up of trade finance instruments such as guarantees and letters of credit.

  • Reporting
Prepare regular treasury reports for the Group Treasury Director, covering liquidity, utilisation of financing, financial exposures and relevant KPIs.

  • Treasury operations and systems
Maintain treasury data and documentation, liaise with banking partners on operational matters, and contribute to improvements in treasury systems, controls and reporting.

Your profile

You have a solid analytical foundation and enjoy combining financial analysis with practical, day-to-day work. You are ready to develop further within treasury, with guidance from experienced colleagues.

We believe you have:

  • Approximately 2–4 years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management, banking or a related finance role

  • A degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field

  • A working understanding of cash management, liquidity forecasting and working capital, together with basic knowledge of FX, interest rates and hedging instruments

  • Strong Excel skills and an interest in financial systems and data; experience with treasury management systems or cash pooling is an advantage

  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to process financial data and prepare analyses and reports

  • The ability to work accurately, prioritise your tasks and collaborate with colleagues across markets and functions

  • Full professional proficiency in English

Experience from an international group and/or the automotive industry is an advantage. You do not need to have worked in all areas of treasury to apply.

To succeed in the role

You are curious, structured and comfortable working with numbers. You take responsibility for your tasks, communicate clearly and ask for support when needed. You enjoy building relationships with local finance teams and banking partners, and you follow issues through to resolution.

This is an opportunity to build broad treasury experience within one of Europe’s leading automotive mobility groups. You will gain exposure to international cash flows, financial risk management and the link between treasury and automotive operations, with support from experienced colleagues and room to grow in the role.
