Within Digital Health Solutions R&D, we build software and connected systems that power these solutions.
The Cloud Engineer owns the cloud platform that our development teams rely on to build and ship products — from architecture and provisioning through to day-to-day operations and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on engineering role, not a coordination role. You will design, build, automate, and operate infrastructure that must be reliable, secure, and easy for product teams to build on. The platform decisions you make set the standard across Digital Health Solutions R&D and influence broader Surgical Workflows engineering practices.
You'll join a Cloud Enablement team of two other cloud engineers and a cloud architect, reporting to the Manager of Cybersecurity and Cloud Enablement. You will work closely with solution architects and development teams across the organization.
What You're Accountable For
The health and evolution of the cloud platform architecture — scalability, reliability, security, and environment standardization across development, staging, and production.
Strong CI/CD skills across Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, with hands-on DevSecOps practice including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance integration.
A role where your infrastructure decisions set the standard — not just for one team, but across DHS R&D and Surgical Workflows engineering. You will work on a platform that directly supports medical technology used in operating rooms worldwide.
