As well as taking a great part in the process of being fully outsourced to a single IT service provider?

About this position

This new Global Business IT architect reports to IT Operations Manager and will have the responsibility for the total IT landscape within both applications and infrastructure activities. You will act as a key partner to business in working partly with requirements, solution design and keeping a firm and ongoing relationship with several internal stakeholders. Group IT is strategically focused, it does not do the execution which it only monitors. Hence establishing a solid relationship with outsourcing partners is of great importance. The position will have a great impact and influence on the future of the Group IT.

The task

  • Collaborating with stakeholders, business representatives, and subject matter experts to design IT systems in synchronization with the needs of the business organization
  • Takes a company's business strategy and defines an IT systems architecture to support that strategy
  • Responsible for creating the roadmap and regulations guiding IT designs and implementation within a business organization
  • Adopt service-oriented architecture (SOA) approaches toward application development
  • Understand a company's business and be able to dive deeply into technology issues
