NOBA Bank Group • Full time • Stockholm
As a Senior Fraud Analyst at NOBA, you'll play a key role in how we, as a bank, keep working proactively to prevent financial crime in the future. You'll join a team of specialists doing important, meaningful work within an organisation leading the way in preventive fraud work. You'll also act as a valued ambassador for fraud prevention and detection, reaching across the whole business and every product we offer.
At NOBA Fraud & Chargeback, we protect our customers and the bank from financial crime, every single day. We work proactively, combining data, technology, and experience to detect and prevent fraud across all of our products. Our team is close-knit and specialist-driven, and we take pride in being at the forefront of fraud prevention within the industry. Together, we make sure NOBA stays one step ahead.
About the role:
As a Senior Fraud Analyst, you develop strategies and rules within fraud prevention and detection. The role combines strategic and operational work — you advise fraud leaders and specialists, monitor data quality, and collaborate widely as a trusted partner on fraud-related initiatives across NOBA.
Your main responsibilities include:
Developing and improving NOBA's rule framework to prevent fraud, based on quantitative analysis, market monitoring, and input from the team
Proposing and implementing changes and improvements to the rule set
Providing recommendations on how NOBA's fraud strategy can evolve
Monitoring and taking action to secure and improve data quality
Acting as a speaking partner and requirement-setter for Fraud Prevention and Detection in company-wide fraud initiatives
Who we're looking for:
We believe you're a driven, goal-oriented person who keeps moving forward even when things get challenging. You enjoy structured, analytical work, even at a high pace, and you're a team player at heart — convinced that collaboration is the way forward, in success and setbacks.
On top of that, we're looking for someone who:
Has experience working with fraud prevention and detection, ideally within banking or another financial institution
Has experience in quantitative analysis and strong problem-solving skills
Has solid knowledge of SAS, SPSS, SQL, R, Python, or similar programming languages
Has experience in project work and requirement-setting within fraud prevention and detection, along with the technical skills to carry out analyses and manage projects
Has excellent English skills, spoken and written
Experience from a niche bank, as well as working with consumer loans, mortgages, or credit cards, is a plus — as is hands-on experience with fraud investigations.
What you can expect from us:
A flat organisation with fast decision-making
Opportunities to grow within your role and across the organisation
Freedom with responsibility
Fun activities with your team and the office
A culture where feedback, coaching leadership, and community matter
