AAK Location
This role can be based at our offices in Aarhus, Karlshamn or Malmo. As part of a global ERP organisation, some travel should be expected.

 
About the Role 
The ERP Functional Specialist plays a key role in shaping and continuously improving our SAP S/4HANA landscape. You are responsible for investigating, preparing and executing functional specifications within your SAP module(s) in scope, ensuring high-quality, stable and value-adding solutions for the business. 

 
You will act as a trusted sparring partner to our SAP Process Developers (SAP Business Partners) and SAP Domain architects, ensuring that the right solutions are designed, implemented and delivered on time and with clear business impact. 

 
In the Global ERP department, we successfully implemented SAP S/4HANA in April 2025 and are now entering an exciting phase focused on optimisation, continuous improvement and new business initiatives – where you will play an active role. You will join a highly skilled, collaborative ERP team with colleagues who are open, helpful and committed to delivering robust solutions together. 

 
We are currently looking for internal ERP Specialists within the following areas: FI/CO, SD, MM and WM. 

 
Key Responsibilities 
- Act as subject‑matter expert within your SAP module or functional area and actively share knowledge, standards and best practices with cross‑functional teams and key stakeholders. 
- Investigate change requests from business stakeholders, assess feasibility, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. 
- Provide recommendations and qualified input to Process Developers and Solution Architects to secure optimal and sustainable solutions. 
- Configure and customize SAP modules in scope and support both smaller improvements and larger initiatives. 
- Collaborate closely with ABAP developers on solutions requiring development. 
- Ensure proper documentation, testing and – when relevant – training of implemented solutions. 
- Provide 3rd line support, troubleshooting complex issues in close cooperation with the Service and Support team. 
- Contribute to defining and executing services based on a service catalogue approach. 
- Support knowledge transfer to enable efficient 1st and 2nd line support. 

 
About You 
We are looking for a professional with experience as an SAP consultant or in a similar internal role that thrives in a collaborative international environment.

 
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their area and enjoy balancing business needs, solution quality and system stability. You are a proactive team player who contributes positively to a supportive and knowledge-sharing culture.

 
- Experience working as an SAP Consultant or in a similar internal SAP functional role
- Strong knowledge within one or more SAP S/4HANA functional areas such as FI/CO, SD, MM or WM
- Experience with SAP configuration and customisation
- Comfortable collaborating with both technical specialists and business stakeholders
- Structured and methodical approach with a strong focus on delivering business value
- Ability to work effectively within agile frameworks and common Ways of Working
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience from production or manufacturing environments is an advantage
- Knowledge of the food industry is beneficial but not required
- IT-related education is preferred, though practical experience and proven results are valued equally highly
