LINE MAINTENANCE PLANNER

Line Maintenance Planner

 

SAS is looking for a Line Maintenance Planner to join our CAMO Line Maintenance Planning team. This is a key role in securing that our aircraft maintenance is planned, prepared, and followed up in an airworthy, safe, compliant, and cost-efficient way. 

 

As a Line Maintenance Planner, you will be part of the organization responsible for ensuring that SAS aircraft are maintained in accordance with approved maintenance programs, regulatory requirements, operational needs, and Continuing Airworthiness standards. The role requires strong planning discipline, attention to detail, operational understanding, and the ability to work closely with both internal and external maintenance providers. 

Challenges you will work on:

 

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and following up maintenance activities for the SAS fleet. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Establishing and preparing maintenance work packages
  • Planning, scheduling, rescheduling, and monitoring scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring that maintenance tasks are planned in accordance with the approved Aircraft Maintenance Program, regulatory requirements, and operational constraints
  • Planning accomplishment of Airworthiness Directives, modifications, repairs, and other maintenance requirements
  • Coordinating with Production Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and contracted maintenance providers to secure execution readiness
  • Supporting requests for variation from the approved Aircraft Maintenance Program when required
  • Participating in internal planning meetings and daily coordination with maintenance providers 
  • Monitoring performed maintenance against agreed plans and KPIs
  • Maintaining accurate planning data in SAS MMIS/AMOS and other relevant systems 
  To be successful we believe you have

 

  • Relevant aviation background, preferably with a degree in aviation studies or equivalent experience from the aviation industry
  • Experience from aircraft maintenance planning, production planning, continuing airworthiness, or aircraft maintenance operations
  • Good understanding of EASA Part-CAMO/Part-M and Part-145 requirements
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, MEL, deferred defects, ADs, modifications, and maintenance forecasting
  • Experience working with maintenance information systems, preferably AMOS
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience from aircraft types operated by SAS is an advantage
