Södra develops, produces and sells bioproducts that create long-term value for our members, customers and society. Within the bioproducts business, we work closely across production, storage and sales to ensure that the right product reaches the right customer at the right time – with profitability and sustainability as guiding principles.
To strengthen profitability in both the short and long term for Södra’s bioproducts, we are now looking for a key role that will take overall responsibility for planning and coordination across the value chain.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the overall sales and planning process for our bioproducts. You will work both strategically and operationally to connect producing units, storage capabilities and sales in a coherent and profitable way.
The role is central to clarifying responsibilities, structuring work that is currently spread across several functions, and driving development towards more digital, data‑driven and AI‑supported planning.

The position is a permanent, full-time employment. Preferred location is Växjö, but other locations may be considered through dialogue.
We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for the bigger picture and who thrives at the intersection of business, production and planning. You have a natural leadership ability, even without formal managerial responsibility, and you create progress through collaboration, structure and clear communication.
To succeed in the role, you need to:
have a strong business mindset and a clear focus on profitability, short and long term
be driven by change and motivated to lead a transformation journey over a 2–3 year horizon
demonstrate sound risk awareness and the ability to manage operational risks in an industrial environment
be communicative and comfortable working with many interfaces that you help structure and digitalise over time
We also see that you have experience of:
working within process industry or other complex industrial environments
cross-functional collaboration between production, sales and support functions
working with ERP systems and structured planning processes
leading, coordinating or influencing work without being a formal line manager
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A relevant university degree is critical, preferably at master’s level. We place great importance on communication skills and experience from the process industry and sales and its specific conditions.
