In less than two years, Nova has grown to over 50 employees, achieved profitability from the start, and built a business with strong growth and high ambitions. We are now looking for someone who wants to help create the financial structure, scalability, and business acumen required for the next phase.

This is not a traditional CFO role. We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with the business, contribute strategically, and at the same time be hands-on in operational work. With us, you will have the opportunity to build, influence, and grow together with the company.

Responsibilities

As CFO at Nova, you will be responsible for building and leading the company’s financial function with a focus on structure, scalability, and business support. The role is both strategic and operational and involves close collaboration with the CEO and management team.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Financial analysis and decision support
• Development of processes, routines, and financial structure
• Business support in international expansion and commercial decisions
• Financial closing, follow-up, and reporting
• Leading and developing the finance department
• Efficiency improvements, systems development, and AI-driven ways of working
• Strategic support to the CEO and management team

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 2–10 years of experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role within fast-growing companies
• Has strong analytical skills and solid understanding of financial processes
• Has experience with budgeting, reporting, and performance management
• Is highly proficient in Excel and modern system environments
• Has an interest in AI and data-driven working methods
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently, as communication is conducted in both languages.

Experience from scale-ups, international expansion, capital raising, or the healthcare sector is considered a plus.
