Software Engineer to our SME Team in Stockholm!

Come help us build the banking experience that our customers need, combining the stability and resources of an established bank with the speed and ambition of a product team that stays close to its customers. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and senior colleagues to build something new in a segment that's ready for change.

Get an idea of the role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who wants to create lending products for the next generation SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) banking experience.

We work as a true team, not a group of individuals with separate tickets. We think together, often through ensemble/mob programming, and we stay in constant conversation rather than heads-down in isolation. There are no ceremonies and minimal upfront planning, we sync and adapt as we go.

Collaboration stretches across the bank and directly with customers. Being able to build relationships and communicate clearly across disciplines is as important as technical ability.

Technical choices are made deliberately, leaning on serverless architecture and managed services to move fast and stay focused on what matters most to our customers.

On a personal level

We believe you have

✓ Strong proficiency in TypeScript

✓ Comfortable working across both frontend and backend

✓ Hands-on experience with AWS-based systems

✓ Experience deploying and operating services in production

✓ Solid technical judgement within own areaof responsibility

✓ Able to reason about trade-offs across frontend, backend and cloud architecture with support from senior engineers

✓ Comfortable taking technical decisionswith end-to-end responsibility.

Meriting skills

• Serverless solution design in AWS

• Knowledge of IAM and security patterns in AWS

• Experience owning services or components in production
