About the role

The Cloud Data Engineering Team within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tribe consists of vibrant, ambitious, and extremely friendly future colleagues gathering and providing datasets within the tribe for discovering customer insights and supporting agility around our interactions with both current and potential customers. We work continually to provide these data insights with the goals of building sound customer relationships, improving customer experience and welcoming new customers to SEB. What you’ll do

Be part of our amazing Cloud Data Engineering Team of 4-6 members dedicated to providing the data needed to drive our Customer Relationship Management activities.
Work with a broad tech stack including: Git, CI/CD, Python, Kafka, Containers, RESTful APIs, API architecture, BigQuery, Terraform and Dataform.
Have primary focus on the development of our GCP-based analytical platform products within our cloud data portfolio.
Broaden your exposure and engagement by working cross team with our other products within our cloud data portfolio.
Work with standard methodologies around continuous integration to manage products deployed on GCP.
Gain a deep understanding of our CRM processes, the data available and how this can be used to continually support amazing customer experiences.
Proactively drive technical solutions within the team.

Continuously learn new skills through our developer communities, internal workshops, courses, hackathons, innovation weeks and tech guilds.

To thrive in this role, we believe:

You have a relevant data engineering background and experience building and optimizing data pipelines and working with data warehouse and BI environments.
You are fascinated by learning, gaining, and sharing knowledge.
You have experience working with ETL/ELT processes.
You value innovative solutions that push your knowledge and experience to the limit.
You have experience working with cloud platforms and technologies, preferably GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
You have experience with Python and Terraform and are skilled at SQL.
You have experience of and value agile methodologies and ways of working.
You have knowledge and passion for best practices like continuous delivery, continuous integration and automated testing and monitoring.
You are happy working both independently and collaboratively.
You know and understand the importance of the tradeoffs between the perfect and a working solution.
