Asset Accountant to Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield

Gazella is now recruiting two Asset Accountants for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, with slightly different areas of focus. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is a leading European commercial real estate company with a portfolio valued at approximately EUR 54 billion. The group has a clear focus on commercial properties with an emphasis on high-quality shopping centers, including Westfield Mall of Scandinavia.

As an Asset Accountant at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, you will be part of the Nordic accounting team and report directly to the Accounting Manager. On site in Stockholm the team consist of 3 assets Accountant and the Accounting Manager. This role is based at the Stockholm office, located at Vasagatan.

• Overall responsibility for accounting and reporting for several Swedish and Danish legal entities as well as accounting processes
• Monthly, quarterly and annual closing according to IFRS and Swedish and Danish accounting rules
• Responsible for VAT and tax management in cooperation with the company's tax advisors
• Preparing and conducting audit work
• Annual reports and CIT returns according to Swedish GAAP and Danish GAAP
• Ongoing work on improvements and streamlining together with your colleagues in the finance function
• Support towards other finance and operations teams

You have minimum three years of experience in accounting and hold a university degree in business, economics, or a related field. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by meeting deadlines. You are fluent in both English and Swedish, with strong communication skills in both written and spoken form. You possess solid knowledge of Swedish and Danish GAAP, experience with IFRS and working in international organizations is considered an advantage. Additionally, you have strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Previous experience within the real estate sector is also seen as a plus.
