Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Focus

Are you passionate about creating world-class user experiences? NOBA is now seeking for a frontend focused software engineer with a love for modern web solutions to join our team in Stockholm.

About the role:
As a frontend developer at NOBA, you will play a key role in shaping user-friendly and accessible web applications that have a real impact on both our internal teams and external users. You’ll take significant responsibility for driving frontend projects from design and architecture to release, ensuring that every interface is intuitive, responsive, and of the highest quality.

Your day-to-day work will involve developing and enhancing web applications using React, building seamless and engaging user experiences, and maintaining high standards of code quality. While you’ll focus on frontend, you’ll also collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services, making sure the entire application functions smoothly as a whole. This collaboration is central to our workflow, and at times, you may even contribute to backend tasks to ensure the best possible integration and user experience.

You’ll be part of an Agile team, participating in the full development process and working together with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver solutions that truly make a difference.

We work from the office 2 days per week.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ years of software development experience, with an emphasis on frontend

• Has driven features end-to-end and contributed to frontend technical decisions

• Has a deep understanding of React fundamentals

• Has strong CSS skills, and a good eye for visual detail

• Has a good understanding of WCAG

• Can write backend APIs when required, ensuring smooth integration with frontend features

• Is a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge

• Is fluent in English, both spoken and written

Bonus points for:

• Experience in Next.js and/or building React apps

• Experience in frontend testing using Vitest/Jest and Playwright

• Experience in backend development in .Net
