SAFETY ANALYST

About the job
We are looking for a Safety Analyst!

Are you passionate about aviation safety and motivated by being close to daily operations? If so, the role of Safety Analyst could be the ideal next step in your career. In this position, you will play a key role in coordinating and analyzing occurrence and hazard reports, directly contributing to the safety and reliability of our operations.

 

Challenges you will work on:

In this role, your ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders is essential. The Safety team provides safety coordination services across the entire SAS Group, including but not limited to:
•    Coordinating occurrence reports within the reporting system
•    Defining, maintaining, and continuously improving the occurrence reporting process
•    Ensuring mandatory and timely reporting to CAAs and other relevant authorities
•    Acting as a liaison between internal departments and external partners
•    Performing safety analysis and supporting data driven decision making

To be successful, we believe you have:

What We Believe You Bring
You have solid, preferably recent, experience within the airline industry. You also possess strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations (EU 376/2014), SAS Airline Operations, and Safety Management Systems and procedures.
Your educational background is likely in aeronautical engineering or another relevant aviation related field with a technical focus, such as experience from CAMO or Part 145.
In addition, you have:
•    Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
•    Strong IS/IT skills related to aviation reporting systems
•    Knowledge of a Scandinavian language (beneficial but not required)

  • This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
