Cloud Engineers with Azure & Developer Experience

We’re looking for two Cloud Engineers who enjoy working in the space where developers and infrastructure meet. Here, you’ll spend your time automating the mundane, architecting the complex, and scaling the future of our Azure AI and OpenAI offerings. This is a code-centric role where infrastructure is treated as a software product. Everything you build is versioned, reviewed, tested, and continuously improved. Our goal is to reduce repetitive work and create the “Golden Paths” that let developers and AI teams deploy quickly, securely, and reliably.

About the role:
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll help build and grow our Azure-based platform. You’ll own the design, automation, and delivery of modular cloud infrastructure, ensuring it’s resilient, scalable, and easy for teams to use. Your work will reduce friction, remove unnecessary steps, and make it simple for developers and data teams to focus on building features instead of worrying about infrastructure. What you’ll do:

• Script first: Automation is at the heart of this role.  If it's worth doing twice, it's worth a pipeline. We treat our scripts like code: versioned, tested, and peer-reviewed.

• Architectural excellence: You’ll design and implement modular Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep), following the Azure Well-Architected Framework for reliability, performance, and cost.

• AI platform enablement: You provide the robust hosting, scaling, and governance for our Azure AI services. You ensure these high-demand services are resilient, secure, and optimized for our data science and dev teams. 

• Developer multiplier: You build the CI/CD templates and connected tooling that abstract away platform complexity. You enable developers to self-serve compliant environments so they can focus on shipping features.

We are looking for you who have:

• Expertise in PowerShell, Python, or Bash. We value maintainable code over quick-fix scripts

• Solid experience with Azure services, networking, and governance

• Experience architecting and automating Docker-based workloads and container orchestration (e.g., AKS, Container Apps) within a CI/CD lifecycle 

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

You’ll be comfortable owning tasks end to end and making technical decisions independently within the areas listed above. Ideally, you have some years of hands-on experience with Azure, containers, and CI/CD pipelines, but we care more about what you can do and that you enjoy the field, rather than the exact number of years.

It's positive if you have:

• Active Azure certifications such as AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer), AZ-305 (Solutions Architect), AZ-204 (Developer Associate), or AZ-104 (Administrator)

• Experience from regulated or security-conscious environments is a plus
