Financial Controller

Sportway is looking for a Financial Controller for our Group Finance team with experience from consulting or audit and ready to advance their career and contribute to building a solid financial base for a fast-growing international technology company.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Financial Controller with a few years of experience who wants to take the next step in their career. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in consulting, accounting, or auditing who is eager to work in a dynamic and fast-growing tech and media environment.

You will play a key role in strengthening our financial processes, supporting reporting and analysis, and helping drive financial transparency across the group.

Key Responsibilities

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes

Prepare financial bookings and reports

Support audits and coordinate with external auditors

Participate in group consolidation and reporting

Help develop and improve accounting structures, systems, and internal processes

Contribute to financial system improvements and process automation

Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

1–3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial consulting

Background from a consulting firm or audit firm is highly valued

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working with financial systems and Excel

Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)

Structured, proactive, and eager to learn
