Assembly Operator

Role Summary An Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling the components of a truck in accordance with working standards. In collaboration with their team, in accordance with values, principles and methods, they are in charge of contributing to the continuous improvement of positions in their sector, particularly in terms of safety, quality, ergonomics, productivity and the environment. Job Responsibilities

Health, Safety, and Environment

Follow basic mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.

Quality Assurance

Support the quality function by working within strict quality standards.

Operational Compliance

Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.

Improvement/Innovation

Accept changes at work.

Use and Care of Tools

Use specific tools and equipment as instructed. Includes performing basic safety checks as instructed and storing allocated tools and equipment appropriately so that they are kept safe.

Work Scheduling and Allocation

Work according to an assigned schedule.

Personal Capability Building

Develop and maintain excellent skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
