Regional Sales Lead – Pumps & Rotating Equipment
Sweden / Nordics

Are you a technically skilled professional with a deep understanding of industrial equipment and its lifecycle? Do you want to play a key role in delivering long-term value to customers through innovative service offerings?

Sulzer seeks a Regional Sales Lead to expand our aftermarket business in oil & gas, power generation, and heavy industry across the Nordic region. In this role, you will help our customers maximize uptime, efficiency, and performance across their operations. With a strong foundation in engineering or industrial applications, you understand how pumps, compressors, steam turbines, generators, electrical motors, and related equipment operate in real-world environments—and how tailored service solutions can extend their life and improve reliability.

Your Duties and Tasks

As our Regional Sales Lead for the Nordic region, your primary focus will be leveraging practical knowledge and technical expertise to cultivate trusted relationships with customers and advance the service business throughout Sweden. This role necessitates a hands-on approach to understanding customer equipment, identifying operational challenges and providing customized rotating equipment technical solutions within our target markets.

Key responsibilities include

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of customers’ industrial processes and equipment to identify maintenance opportunities as well as efficiency and reliability enhancements.
  • Acting as a technical advisor during maintenance planning and operational decision-making, advocating for practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Supporting customers’ decision-making by offering clear, actionable proposals that demonstrate value and build trust.
  • Travelling regularly throughout Sweden with occasional travel to other service locations within the Nordic countries as needed to develop stronger customer relationships and increased service business volume.
  • Co-ordinating the Nordic sales team reporting through regular dialogue with colleagues in other countries and fostering a culture of customer-focused problem-solving.

Additionally, you will collaborate with Service Center teams and Product Line Specialists to develop strategies that reflect market demand and customer priorities. Organizing customer engagement events will also be a part of your role to further establish understanding and rapport.

Your profile

You possess a strong grasp of industrial systems and enjoy tackling practical challenges. Sulzer is seeking an individual who blends technical expertise with commercial insight, a proactive problem-solver who excels in dynamic settings and thrives on working autonomously while staying focused on outcomes.

Your ability to build trust stems from understanding customer requirements and delivering clear, technical solutions. With a confident and analytical approach, you actively contribute to driving business success.

Key Qualifications

  • A technical degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Sharp commercial sense and business insight
  • Familiarity with industrial decision-making processes and a proven record of supporting successful deals
  • Exceptional skills in fostering strong relationships
  • Fluent in English and Swedish language

What we offer

  • A dynamic work environment with opportunities to influence business direction
  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • A leadership role in a successful, expanding company

This position involves working closely with customers in an industrial environment, where your hands-on experience and technical knowledge will be utilized. You will have the chance to impact important decisions and establish long-lasting relationships that benefit both customers and the company.
