BioArctic is looking for a passionate Bioanalytical Scientist to join our dynamic and growing portfolio of projects, ranging from early discovery to phase II clinical development. In this highly innovative environment, you will work alongside skilled and dedicated colleagues in one or several project teams, contributing to the development of biological drugs targeting neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and ALS.
Active participation as project member and support the project(s) with reaching their overall goals.
Identifying, developing and qualifying quantitative bioanalytical methods such as immunoassays suitable for efficacy and pharmacokinetic read outs in preclinical in vivo studies as well as translation to clinical Phase I and II studies.
Planning, execution and delivery of experiments with high quality, within agreed timelines and according to project objectives.
Documentation and communication of results within specific projects and functions.
MSc or PhD in relevant natural science discipline, such as biomedicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology or neuroscience.
Experience of developing and qualifying quantitative immunoassays on technology platforms such as ELISA, MSD and/or SIMOA for the use of diagnostics and/or pharmacodynamic and exposure analyses.
Proven track record of developing and qualifying highly sensitive quantitative assays, as well as experience applying these in various tissue matrices such as human plasma and CSF.
Experience of developing extraction and sample preparation protocols from various tissue matrices.
Good communication skills in English (oral, written, and presentation).
Experience of drug development and/or biomarker research in neurodegenerative disorders.
Experience of quantitative bioanalysis of antibody conjugates and other modalities such as oligonucleotides and small molecules
