The Power Equipment (PEQ) segment
This electrifying segment provides products and solutions to leading global companies manufacturing equipment for the power grid and a diverse range of power products. With the world moving towards sustainability, we’re at the forefront of exciting changes such as the growth of solar energy, increasing demand for energy storage solutions, and the electrification of the automotive industry. 

Your role

As a Global Business Development Manager, you’ll shape the future of the segment, driving initiatives to expand our market presence and accelerate growth. You will collaborate across borders, engage with diverse stakeholders and customers, and work closely with Atlas Copco teams worldwide to drive innovation, customer success, and global consistency. As a Global Key Account Manager for strategic accounts, your customer-centric approach will ensure exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and revenue growth.

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Formulate and implement business development strategies for the Power Equipment segment.  
  • Coordinate sales initiatives with selected accounts, driving global strategic partnerships and leading negotiations. 
  • Keep a pulse on market and industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive product roadmaps and business strategies.  
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners on a global scale. 
  • Collaborate with Product Management teams to align product development with market demands.  
  • Work closely with the global sales organization to ensure their strategies align with your business development initiatives.  
  • Track and analyze business performance metrics, delivering insights and recommendations
  • Foster collaboration, diversity, and inclusive leadership across global teams

 The role reports to Global Segment Manager Smart Factory, Line Assembly

To succeed, you will need

We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for driving global business growth and key account management. If you recognize yourself in most of these points, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Proven track record in business development, strategic account management, or segment strategy, with a focus on driving revenue growth
  • Technical understanding of product and assembly systems (within energy, industrial manufacturing, or electrification being a plus).
  • Experience in managing key accounts on a global scale.
  • Skilled in global collaboration and comfortable working across borders and cultures
  • Ability to engage at technical, business, and executive levels
  • Commercially savvy with financial acumen and KPI-driven mindset
  • Strong execution capability — translating strategy into action
  • Curious, proactive, and resilient — with a passion for innovation and customer success
  • Commitment to sustainability and shaping the future of sustainable productivity solutions.

Job location

You will preferably be located in Stockholm, Sweden, although there may be flexibility depending on experience. To fulfill your mission, you’ll travel frequently.
