About the role:

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in the newly established Next Generation Custody Cash team based in Vilnius. This team is currently being built and will be responsible for developing a high-performance system capable of processing large volumes of financial data efficiently and securely. In this role, you will be deeply involved in hands-on development while also contributing to the broader technical direction of the team. You’ll help define and implement best practices, mentor and support team members, and work closely with the tech lead and solution architects to ensure architectural alignment and technical excellence. Your responsibilities will include ensuring successful delivery of the system to production, establishing robust maintenance routines, and continuously improving system performance and reliability. This is a unique opportunity to shape a critical part of the organization’s future infrastructure from the ground up.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Proven experience working as a .NET developer, with a strong grasp of backend development principles
Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases
Familiarity with message queuing systems such as MQ or Kafka (considered an advantage)
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (considered an advantage)
Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular or React (considered an advantage)
A strong sense of accountability, both for your own work and for contributing to the team’s overall success
A collaborative mindset and a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
