Technical Fullstack Tester - Checkout

We are now looking for a technical fullstack tester who is passionate about quality and wants to take ownership of testing across our systems, from API layers to the user interface.

About the Role

As part of our Checkout domain, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to ensure that quality is built into every step of the development process. You will be involved throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirements and design to deployment and monitoring, and contribute both with automated and exploratory testing. You will have a strong technical focus, helping us strengthen our test automation, identify gaps in coverage, and continuously improve how we verify our systems' reliability and performance.

What You Will Do

  • Work together with your team from idea to deployed product and beyond 
  • Design and execute API tests and integration tests for complex payment flows
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites in C# and JavaScript 
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
  • Work closely with developers to improve testability and CI/CD pipelines
  • Use tools such as Selenium and other frameworks to ensure end-to-end quality
  • Contribute to a data-driven testing approach and continuous feedback loops

What We Are Looking For

We believe you are a skilled and curious tester with a technical mindset and a passion for improving quality at all levels of the stack. You enjoy collaborating across roles, challenging assumptions, and finding smarter ways to verify software.

You likely have:

  • Experience as a technical tester, preferably in a DevOps and agile environment
  • Strong skills in API testing and backend validation
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing in C# and/or JavaScript
  • Solid knowledge of exploratory testing methods
  • Experience with Selenium or similar UI automation frameworks
  • An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and good communication skills
  • Experience from e-commerce, fintech, or high-transaction systems is a plus.

We work in a hybrid setup, with our main office located at Lilla Bommen in Gothenburg. Three days a week we collaborate on-site to share ideas, build knowledge, and move faster together.
