Food for Development (FfD) is the unit that coordinates and makes available the group’s extensive knowledge and experience in school feeding and nutrition programmes linked to agricultural and dairy development programmes that we have gathered over the years.
We support our customers and work in collaboration with governments, NGOs, UN and International Development Agencies to develop and implement school milk and school feeding programmes linked to local agricultural development. More than 84,500 smallholder farmers involved in our Dairy Hub projects have delivered milk to our customers. Meanwhile, 66 million children in 49 countries receive milk or other nutritious beverages in Tetra Pak packages in schools.
