Accountant

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with being in charge of the whole process, from bookkeeping to annual reports and everything in between, with a high level of accuracy. You work independently but also proactive and would like to grow in the company as Wrapp grows. The role is located at the Wrapp HQ in central Stockholm and reports to the company CFO.

Main responsibilities include:

• Provide day-to-day processing of transactions from sub-ledger to G/L and balance sheet reconciliation including subsidiaries
• Provide the accounting of expenditures, e.g. supplier invoices, staff and T&E expenses including follow up of the approval process
• Review accounting transactions for accuracy and appropriateness including documentation according to Swedish GAAP and internal rules
• Perform ad hoc investigations in order to further develop systems, increase quality and transparency in the accounting
• Prepare, review and submit monthly and yearly end statements
• Provide investors with financial information VAT and tax reporting
• Prepare accounting documents for audit and board
• Handle payroll including salaries, benefits and vacation

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Finance degree with a major in accounting or equivalent
• 1-5 years or work experience in a similar position or with a book keeping agency
• Good knowledge of Swedish accounting principles and tax regulations. Knowledge of other - Nordic countries (specifically Finland) is meriting
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets / Numbers
• Experience from financial systems, preferably Fortnox
• Experience from a transaction intense business
• Experience from handling payroll -Fluent in English and Swedish

The right candidate is goal oriented, responsible, structured and accurate with an analytical mind set and the ability to organize and prioritize. He or she is also service minded towards the different stakeholders such as investors, management, the board and staff.
