Service technician to Atlas Copco Compressor, Västerås

Your role

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for tech and customer service? Do you thrive in a role where no two days are the same? Then you might be the Service Technician we’re looking for in the Västerås area!

In this role, you’ll be working with preventive maintenance of compressed air systems – including compressors, dryers, filters, and nitrogen/oxygen generators. You’ll also troubleshoot, perform urgent repairs and carry out equipment refurbishments. Plus, you’ll be part of commissioning newly installed systems.

Your mission as the Service Technician at Atlas Copco Compressor is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

You will

• Report into the Service Manager. 
• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems. You will also diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime. 
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities. 
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.

To succeed, you will need

• Previous experience in mechanics, electrical work, automotive technology, or similar fields
  
• Solid communication skills in both Swedish and English
  
• Good computer skills and a valid driver’s license (B)
  
• Bonus points if you’ve worked as a service technician in the industry or hold a refrigeration license

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Västerås. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, Sweden (SE).
