Within Scania's Procurement organization, we are looking for a structured and driven individual who is passionate about making a difference through coordination and operational excellence.
What’s in it for you?
In this exciting and broad role, you will be based in the department SM and act as a coordinator for procurement topics across all procurement departments. While being part of a specific team, you will have an overarching responsibility from the procurement side in selected cross-functional projects and operational initiatives.
You will operate across a wide spectrum – from administrative and hands-on tasks to driving improvements in processes and ways of working. You will support the procurement organization in shaping how we organize and execute key activities, especially those that span several departments or require harmonization across functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong insight into how Scania works, who wants to contribute to making our procurement operations more efficient and resilient.
What you will do
• Coordinate activities and lead cross-departmental procurement initiatives
• Take overarching responsibility from the procurement side in selected cross-functional topics
• Set up and improve processes and routines for how we work within procurement
• Support operational tasks and help build up scalable and efficient administrative practices
• Facilitate collaboration between different procurement departments
• Act as a point of contact and driver for internal development efforts linked to procurement
• Support teams in preparing and following up on forums, workshops, and governance activities
The position is located in Södertälje, and occasional travel may be needed depending on the assignment.

- Solid experience from working within Scania Purchasing or related areas
- A proactive and independent way of working
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A genuine interest in improving ways of working and processes
- The ability to drive initiatives forward without formal leadership responsibility
