At Crew Systems Support & Analytics, our mission is to enable efficient and seamless crew planning across all SAS Group airlines. We provide analytical expertise and system support to key areas such as Production Platforms, Network Planning, Industrial Relations, and strategic initiatives. By managing and developing our Crew Management System (CMS) (provided by Jeppesen) and related tools – we ensure SAS maintains world-class crew optimization capabilities.
Purpose
We operate much like an internal service provider, supporting multiple platforms within the SAS Group. This means we have a unique responsibility to identify synergies and streamline planning processes across the organization.
We’re now looking for a Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll help ensure our CMS continues to support the needs of the business today and evolve to meet the challenges of tomorrow. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Airline Operations, SAS IT, our external development partners, and the Union Agreements team to drive improvements from idea to implementation.

To succeed in this role, you are structured, meticulous and detail oriented while maintaining the ability to see the big picture. You have the capability to work independently, take responsibility, and to think alternatively to reach solutions. You must cope with both stress and large workloads at times. Ability to communicate and collaborate is a must, along with a god dose of humor and a supportive attitude towards your colleagues.
In this role you will have an edge if you have a solid experience from Jeppesen portfolio and have a vision for software quality and process efficiency. You will need to be proficient in communication (written and spoken) in English and while it’s no demand, it is positive if you master one of the Scandinavian languages. Knowledge of Linux systems, experience of coding in RAVE and Python is an advantage.

Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period
This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
