Scania Technical Product Planning – Use Case Team: Team Lead & Use Case Analysts

We are now looking for a Team Lead and several Use Case Analysts to join our Use Case team – a central function with the mission to identify improvement opportunities in our products and drive strategic decisions. The Use Case team is a key player within Technical Product Planning at Scania BID. Our mission is to analyze strengths and weaknesses in the current product portfolio and propose technical improvements that enhance our customer offering. The work is cross-functional and involves close collaboration with Group R&D, Sales & Marketing, portfolio management, and strategic functions across both Scania and Traton.

The team is dynamic – in addition to the core team, experts and property owners are brought in as needed to address specific topics. We're looking for someone who understands customer needs and is dedicated to finding win-win solutions for both our customers and Scania.

 

Team Lead

  • As the Use Case Team Lead, you will play a central role in guiding and developing the team’s work. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Prioritizing weekly agendas and leading meetings
  • Driving key topics toward well-founded conclusions
  • Communicating results to stakeholders and management groups
  • Building and maintaining close relations to collaborating units within Scania and Traton
  • Ensuring structured documentation of data, results and analyses

  • Natural leadership skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • As the team is key to success we believe you are an experienced meeting organizer with the ability to handle diverse opinions with servant leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills and experience from getting your message across to senior management
  • A strategic mindset, ability to see “the big picture" and manage complex tasks
  • Solid knowledge of Scania’s products, systems, and development processes including our modularization principles
Use Case Analyst

As an analyst, you will use diverse sources to consolidate fact based data into trends and conclusions of value for the Use Case Team and Scania. Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Analyzing data from our operational database
  • Defining Scania´s Value Use Cases
  • Identifying gaps between desired solution variants and the actual customer value of initiatives in our project portfolio
  • Collaborating cross-functionally and contributing to team conclusions
  • Using various tools, e.g. CAVA, PAT, UFO

 

We believe you have:

 

  • Strong analytical skills and an interest in technology and product development
  • Deep knowledge of Scania’s products
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience working with complex topics
