Role Summary
As Group Manager of Project Exhaust, you will lead a team of highly skilled purchasers responsible for  a high tech and complex product. The responsibility of this area requires control on multiple tiers of the supply chain in a Global TRATON lead context. Your mission will be to ensure the Procurement activities in pre-development and development projects, in close cooperation with R&D and fellow TRATON brands. Together with your 3-ring colleges, your mission is to secure a reliable and competitive supplier base that meets Scania´s requirements in Technology, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability throughout the product lifecycle. 


This position acts in particularly close collaboration with the management team at R&D and is a key player in the IMT, representing dual functions with the silencer production at our supplier location. You have an essential role in balancing and challenging the demands of emission development with the supply chain possibilities of today and tomorrow.


As a group manager, you'll focus on developing, supporting, and coaching your team to achieve both collective targets and personal goals, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. By understanding our customer needs and continuously adapt way of working, you'll drive continuous improvement, build a strong and diverse team as well as strive for optimal results. 


The role reports to the Head of Project Powertrain and is part of the Project Powertrain management team.

This position is located in Södertälje. The role involves regular travel, as our internal and external counterparts are located worldwide.
