About the role:

Join a dynamic department operating across Sweden and Lithuania, where innovation meets impact. You’ll lead a strategically important unit based in Stockholm, consisting of two agile teams (15 professionals in total) including Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, front- and back-end developers, and UX designer.

Your teams are at the forefront of SEB’s API strategy—delivering the API Gateway and platform, and serving as a Centre of Excellence. They provide expert support and guidance to ensure the development of high-quality, standardized internal and external APIs.

This unit plays a vital role within the Data, Connectivity & Analytics Tribe, part of the Business Infrastructure Domain.

You will be responsible for:

Developing high-performing teams with outstanding commitment to common goals, mutual trust and respect, clarity around individual roles and responsibilities, and great collaboration.
Maintaining a healthy IT portfolio of your team from a risk, security, cost, and compliance perspective.
Hiring new staff, managing performance, coaching and mentoring team members.
Communicate and closely interact with leading representatives at the different Business functions as well as with managers and architects within Tech.
Driving SEB’s technical transformation agenda for your team’s portfolio for future proofing applications, data transformations, APIs and our journey to SaaS and cloud.
Contributing to the department and extended management team.
