Role Summary

 

We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect within the sourcing and procurement domain to help drive our SAP transformation. You will be part of our Source-to-Pay area, where you’ll work across functions to design scalable, efficient, and innovative SAP solutions.

 

Your main mission will be to contribute to the setup and refinement of our global SAP template, ensuring alignment between business needs and our evolving system landscape. As a key part of the team, you’ll influence future direction, assess new SAP product opportunities, and guide technical design decisions in projects that span across Scania and the broader TRATON Group.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

• Lead architecture design and development activities within SAP S/4HANA for sourcing and procurement.
• Shape and evolve the global SAP template, supporting both ongoing and future project releases.
• Evaluate SAP tools (e.g., Central Procurement Hub, Fieldglass, SAP ECM) and identify opportunities for Scania.
• Safeguard solution integrity by promoting standard processes and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and support integration or customer-specific solutions.
• Guide change management and participate in review and governance processes.
• Share your knowledge with peers and contribute to Scania’s IT innovation culture.

 

Who You Are

 

We believe you are a curious, solutions-oriented professional with a strong foundation in SAP sourcing and procurement. You’re as comfortable navigating complex technical challenges as you are engaging with stakeholders from different backgrounds.

 

You likely bring:

 

• 5+ years’ experience in SAP sourcing and procurement, covering direct and/or indirect materials.
• Deep understanding of procurement business processes and system integration.
• Experience across multiple phases of SAP project lifecycles, ideally in S/4HANA environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as SAP BTP, Fieldglass, SAP ECM, VIM, and integrations with non-SAP systems (advantageous).
• Exposure to the automotive industry or other large-scale manufacturing environments (preferred).
• A collaborative and pragmatic mindset, with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus).
