About this opportunity   

Are you a motivated Quality Manager ready to take on the overall responsibility for local quality work at our facility in Växjö? At Getinge Disinfection, we manufacture washer-disinfectors and endoscope reprocessors for healthcare, meeting high standards of patient safety, functionality, and user-friendliness.This Local Quality Manager position is located in Växjö, Sweden. You will report to Head of QA Operations for the business Area Surgical Workflows. You will also be part of the Getinge Disinfection AB Management team. 

 

What you will do 

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead the QRC department in their daily activities. You will also have the responsibility for regulatory compliance and quality management system, as well as to harmonize and improve the line activities together with the corporate quality system and other related stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be: 

 

  • Be responsible for regulatory compliance 
  • Act as local Management Representative 
  • Develop, define, maintain and revise processes, and QMS procedures to ensure company and products comply with allocable regulations and laws 
  • Organize and prepare management review meetings and report the performance of the QMS to local and global Executive Management 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the QA function to achieve Quality Objectives and targets 
  • Coordinate and host external certification and surveillance audits/inspections 

 

This position, due to the nature of the activities, is mainly based on site with hybrid setup, as optional.  

 

You will bring 

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications. 

  • Bachelor´s degree in science or engineering  
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in QA in a Medical Device manufacturing environment 
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in leading and coaching teams 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485 and other related regulatory requirements 
  • Successful interactions and experience with regulatory agencies 
  • Good knowledge of statistics and practical application of the QSR and ISO 13485 

 

In addition to your technical skills, we highly value your personality. This position will succeed with strong management skills, in order to drive the local QRC team and support other departments with QA/RA related functions. It will be vital to be engaged and driven towards the realization of goals.
