Scania Full time Södertälje

Coordinator/Scrum master for CAE Cab

About the job

Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.

Role Summary

We are looking for a CAE Coordinator / Scrum Master to join our Cab Durability and Crash Simulation team at Traton R&D in Södertälje. As the transport industry undergoes a major transformation—driven by sustainability, electrification, and autonomy—our group plays a key role in shaping the vehicles of tomorrow.

Our team is responsible for finite element (FE) strength and fatigue simulations in cab development, as well as complete vehicle crash simulations. We support Scania’s journey to optimize weight, safety, reliability, and cost across multiple exciting projects. With us, you'll have the opportunity to help develop future Scania products while also improving existing ones.

Job Responsibilities

As a CAE Coordinator / Scrum Master, your main responsibility is to ensure efficient and transparent simulation support across several design flows. You will work according to the Traton Product Development Process (OnePDP), facilitating alignment and delivery within our simulation team.

Your key tasks include:

  • Coordinating simulation deliveries to support product development activities.
  • Facilitating planning events and daily stand-ups.
  • Managing the team’s work-in-progress backlog and available capacity.
  • Tracking, communicating, and visualizing progress across tasks.
  • Continuously improving internal processes and reducing inefficiencies.
  • Supporting alignment between simulation, design, and testing functions.

Who You Are

We are looking for a collaborative and structured team player with a strong interest in product development and agile methodologies.

You should have:

  • A positive and proactive attitude, with excellent communication skills.
  • A MSc degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering—or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and process-oriented thinking.
  • A genuine interest in continuous improvements and agile workflows.
  • Experience in FE analysis, fatigue/strength testing, or similar simulation work is highly appreciated.
  • Previous exposure to the automotive industry is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Scania’s OnePDP process and/or agile roles (e.g. Scrum Master) is a significant plus.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams both locally and globally.

This Is Us

You’ll join a supportive and experienced team working in a collaborative environment. Most of our projects are global, meaning you’ll have the chance to cooperate with Traton brands worldwide. Our primary focus is on cab development, but we support multiple value streams across the organization.

Scania Offers

We offer a dynamic, flexible workplace with hybrid work options, including Scania Sergel and Midway hubs. With a structured development plan and courses, Scania supports your career growth both locally and internationally.

Benefits include training at our health center Gröndal or wellness allowance, result bonus, flexible hours, and company car leasing. Scania also hosts events for employees and their families, and Stockholm residents enjoy direct access to Södertälje via Scania Job express buses.
