  • Company Description

You see things a little differently. So do we. We offer positions that challenge your skills and inspire you to grow. Join us on a path of exploration and growth.

Retail Concept is paving the way for IKEA's future success by developing an omnichannel IKEA Concept that's both attractive and competitive—implemented collaboratively with IKEA trademark users. Our responsibility includes sharing IKEA's rich knowledge to enhance the brand further.

    About the role
As a People & Culture Generalist at Inter IKEA, you'll contribute on both tactical and operational fronts, collaborating closely with the People & Culture Leader. You'll support the organization in every People & Culture aspect—from welcoming new coworkers to guiding them through their entire journey with us, until they move on to new adventures.

    About the responsibilities
Together with the People & Culture Leader and Managers in your business area, you'll partner to attract and nurture the right talents through a thoughtful recruitment process aligned with IKEA values. You'll collaborate with our recruiting managers to ensure a welcoming onboarding process that embraces new colleagues warmly.

You're instrumental in developing, applying, and refining People & Culture processes and practices, providing genuine support to coworkers, managers, and other stakeholders. Your guidance is vital in change management, working alongside People & Culture Leaders and business figures to navigate transformations seamlessly.

A key aspect is to offer friendly guidance in areas like reintegration, working conditions, and legal matters, supporting all People & Culture processes within your unit in coordination with relevant business leaders.

    About you

With your background and experience as a People & Culture Generalist, you possess insights into Swedish labour law, international recruitment, and skill development.

Being passionate about people, you are dedicated to fostering a supportive, welcoming environment where coworkers can truly be themselves. You thrive in dynamic and multi-dimensional settings, comfortably balancing tactical and operational tasks—all while embodying the IKEA values and nurturing business through people.

You possess outstanding HR partnering skills to support us forward in bringing about the very best people outcomes.

Communication is your strength—transparent, simple, and straightforward—enabling you to share open, constructive feedback effectively.

You achieve goals, take action responsibly, and prioritize effectively. Independent in your work, you also recognize the value of collaboration, knowing when to reach out for guidance or invite others in.

    About us

We foster an open environment where experimenting, trying new approaches, and asking "What if...?" is encouraged. We offer opportunities for personal and career growth globally.

We're on a transformative journey to better meet our customers' needs and fortify IKEA's franchise legacy. This involves synthesizing processes, people, data, and technology—a catalyst for IKEA to become an even better home furnishing retailer. We're looking for passionate individuals who welcome change and dare to make a difference. Does this sound like you? If so, we invite you to join us on this shared adventure.
