Job Description:
As a Project Buyer in our Project Buyer department (part of the Global Sourcing team) you will coordinate sourcing and industrialization activities with our external suppliers, ensuring adherence to strategic sourcing strategies to optimize quality, delivery, and cost targets while meeting time-to-market goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage sourcing of parts/products for R&D projects in line with project timelines, price targets, and sourcing strategies.
• Handle supplier selection of new parts including RFQ and presenting for Sourcing Board. Conduct cost follow-ups during the course of the project and analyse potential cost deviations.
• Own and secure the project deliveries at our suppliers.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure parts/products are designed for optimized production quality, delivery, and total cost over the product lifecycle.
• Communicate technical specifications and ensure production and quality standards are understood and met by suppliers.
• Together with responisble SQE optimize manufacturing methods and processes at our Electronics Manufacturing Service suppliers.
• Place and follow up on purchase orders for projects.
Experience Requirements:
• Experience in setting up external production of electronic boards or modules.
• Some knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, value engineering, and product development.
• Experience in project-related sourcing and industrialization of new products.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and supplier relationship management skills.
• Project management experience or sourcing from EMS suppliers is highly valued.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; Swedish and other languages are a plus.
• University or College degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Our office is located in Sickla/Nacka, just 8 minutes from Central Stockholm.
