Collection Officer (Finnish)

We’re looking for a committed and skilled Collection Officer to join our team and support our Finnish customers. If you're passionate about customer care, problem-solving, and helping people navigate financial challenges, you might be the one we’re looking for!

About the role:
As a Collection Officer, you will play an important role in negotiating and implementing solutions for our Finnish customers experiencing financial challenges. You will be part of a dedicated team and work closely with the debt collection process to ensure appropriate actions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You will join the Collection department, which consists of 15 employees across our six markets, all based at our office in Fornebu.

Main responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding relief options such as interest rate reductions and payment deferrals.
  • Assess customers’ financial situations and offer appropriate measures.
  • Assist the collection agency with information and handle disputes, ensuring effective recovery.
  • Evaluate legal issues and keep up to date with relevant legislation related to debt collection.
  • Cooperate with legal partners and represent the company in relevant proceedings, where applicable.

What you bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in debt collection or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Service-minded, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English (other Scandinavian languages are a plus).
  • Education or background in law, economics, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
