The role as Store Manager (SM) 
As Store Manager at H&M Home you have the important role to create an excellent and inspiring shopping experience for our customers every day. The role as Store Manager is to lead and develop your team to achieve budgeted and planned sales and profitability targets, through providing excellent customer service and ensuring optimal and efficient store operations. As Store Manager, your responsibilities are divided into five parts: Customers, Colleagues, Procedures, Planning and Results & Profitability. You are an ambassador for the brand and together with the team you strive to exceed customer expectations and drive selling on the sales floor, that’s where it all happens! 

Your responsibilities 
The job of a SM comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your responsibilities include: 

  • Provide excellent customer service in your store and coach your team to always keep our customer top of mind. 

  • Follow up on sales KPIs, sales goals and budgets to optimise profit. 

  • Actively seek opportunities to increase the selling 

  • Train, develop and inspire your team. 

  • Set an example for your team by always acting in line with H&M Group values, H&M Home brand DNA and H&M Group Global leadership principles. 

  • Ensure best practice of store activities and back office procedures.  

We are looking for a strong and passionate leader who thrives in a fastmoving environment where the customers is always in focus. You coach and guide your team to together reach your goals.  

Your skills should include: 

  • Fluent in Swedish & English – writing and speaking to communicate with all levels in the business. 

  • Passion for customer service. 

  • Coaching and development mindset of your team. 

  • Interior design interest and work experience in an interior store. 

  • Experience leading large teams (20 employees +) 

  • Result driven attitude. 

  • Proactive in taking commercial actions everyday 

  • Well-organised and able to cope with a large workload. 

  • Planning and prioritising to reach your goals. 

  • Analytical and reflective mindset to constantly improve store profitability.
