Steritec Products Inc., a member of the Getinge Group, manufactures sterilization and cleaning medical device consumables using ink technology. We manufacture and print highly specialized proprietary inks that undergo specific color changes when exposed to different sterilization conditions in hospital and industrial/pharmaceutical sterilizers.

The Buyer II role is an onsite position, Monday -Friday. Typical hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm, with some flexibility.Salary Range is $69,000 - 89,000.
Job Function Summary:
This position is responsible for the planning and purchasing of all goods and services within the Getinge Denver location (SteriTec Products, Inc.) to ensure seamless operations and manufacturing of all products. Daily attention to maintain balance of Inventory Investment, Availability, Lead Time and Operating Cost.
Job Functions:
• Coordinates activities involved in planning and procuring good and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies, for all SteriTec departments.
• Manages all Purchased components through Global Shop Solutions MRP system and reviews MRP Action Items for purchase recommendations. Align with Inventory Control team and Production Planning team to balance Inventory Investment, Availability and Lead Time and Operating Cost.
• Manages all Purchased components through GSS and reviews Automated Purchasing reports for purchase recommendations.
• Works closely with vendors on costing for goods and services purchased to include availability and delivery schedule. • Works closely with Quality Department to maintain and follow up on RMA parts and returns to the vendor.
• Reviews purchase requisitions and create Purchase Orders in GSS for all miscellaneous goods & services for all departments prior to placing orders.
• Maintains and reports assigned metrics (by Controller and/or Manager).
• Maintain all the GSS system information related to material planning and purchasing/sourcing. Creating and updating Reorder Points and Reorder quantities based on usage.(minimum 2x’s a year)
• Gets signatures on purchase requisitions / purchase orders from all departments where applicable. Maintains computerized records for traceability and confirmation.
• Ability to be cross functional and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with and work with people at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to create streamlined processes.
• Places purchase order with approved vendors via phone, fax or email. Ensures that all orders are confirmed within 24 hours of placement.
• Communicates with peers and senior management to ensure effective and efficient use of time, space and materials.
• Attends meetings and works to improve the profitability of the company.
• Maintains regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
• Adheres to all stated company policies and procedures.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• General knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Software.
• Ability to clearly and concisely disseminate information to multiple internal customers and external suppliers.
• Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email with customers
• Preferred: Experience working in a Medical and/or Regulatory environment.
Minimum Requirements:
• Associate degree. College degree preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong math and computer skills (primarily Microsoft Office programs).
• Preferred: Experience or understanding of LEAN concepts.
• Minimum 2 years in a mid-to-high volume manufacturing environment in purchasing and planning of raw (direct) materials

• Must be able to promptly report any non-compliance issues to Director QA, RA, Compliance officer or appropriate administrator, including the Compliance Hotline.
• Must be competent with 21 CFR 820 and any other applicable federal regulations, and Quality standards (As applicable to your job function).
Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:

• Duties are mainly performed in an office environment.
• Duties may be required to be performed in a controlled environment following specific gowning procedures.
• May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
• The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to utilize computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.
