About the job

The group Cable Harness Design for Bus Body, ADAS & ATS (RBEK) consists of 10 people. A part of the team does circuit diagrams and cable harness design which empowers and connects the different systems. The other part of the teams works with routing the cables in 3D. The work is done in close collaboration with the software engineers on neighbour groups on R&D.

The cables connects and provides power for the bus body systems that’s designed for passengers and driver such as climate, lights, stop buttons, toilet etc. The group is also responsible for cables in the areas of ADAS, Advanced Driver Assistance System, and ATS, Autonomous Transport Solution. In these areas it’s about cables for radars, cameras and such components.

As an object leader (sub project leader), you will play an important role as a part of the development projects at Scania and also lead your own sub projects which contains a team of cable harness designers, 3D cable routing designers and representatives from purchasing, production and aftermarket. You will be the spider in the web who ensures that product targets are met in time and the deviations during the projects are taken care of in a good way.

Your profile
- You have a technical university degree and a couple of years of experience as an engineer.
- You have a driven personality with leadership skills and strives to develop them to a higher level.
- You work in structured manner, continuously planning and prioritizing tasks and are quick to adapt to changed circumstances within the projects.
- You use your curiosity and creativity to find new solutions, to sell your ideas and continuously strive to find win-win solutions or quick compromises if necessary.
- You value an open work environment where ideas are welcome and discussed, and you are also a good listener.
- You are inspired by problems and see them as good challenges.
- You communicate well in English and preferably also Swedish.
