Manager - HIL Test HW Platform

The group "Hardware Test Platform", EPTH, is responsible for the hardware design in the HIL (Hardware In the Loop) test platform. The HIL HW is used for integration tests of the complete vehicles electrical system. Our new concept FlexHIL is scalable meaning that the HW could be used also for other test levels starting from single ECU testing.

The reason for developing the test system inhouse is due to the high need of flexibility. Our SW development cycles are decreasing and our test platforms needs to follow that trend. Our mission is to support the organisation with the test platforms to enable the shift towards a sustainable transport solution. 

Your tasks 
As a manager you will be responsible for both the HW designers and the electrical technicians building the HW.

Our test platform covers the electrical system of the whole vehicle, that means that you need to have an overview of all new projects that affect the electrical system in terms of SW/function development and connected HW changes. This requires a lot of interaction with many other groups within R&D.

The mission includes both fast development to support new functions and a structured long term thinking to minimize effort for maintenance.

We offer you involvement in the majority of the ongoing projects within R&D. A chance to develop one of the most advanced HIL test platforms in the world.

Your profile
We are looking for a Manager that have previous management experience of minimum 3 years. You have a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent. Good knowledge of English and Swedish both written and spoken is required. Further you have a genuine background within test, software or electrical hardware development.

You like a large network with many interfaces and your strength is to identify your contribution to the big picture. To make fast decisions and follow them through is natural to you. You like to interact with people both inside and outside your team to find creative solutions to our challenges.
