Your role

You work on electronic design updates on our latest controller family and act as the power electronics design expert across our R&D department. You are also part of development projects, which means that you are familiar with the product design when released on the market.
In this role, you work cross-functionally with almost all functions in the organization - marketing, quality, other R&D disciplines, production sites, our industry customers, and of course your team colleagues. Focus is to keep our customers’ production resilient, effective, human-centric and sustainable. The role includes an overall responsibility for the power electronics in our controllers, as well as visits to suppliers and customers worldwide.

Mission:

• Power and control electronics design in existing and new controllers
• Solve quality issues together with the quality department
• Prototyping and testing
• Support our own factories and suppliers

You report to Team manager Hardware Engineering R&D. 

City: Sickla (Nacka, Stockholm). We have a hybrid workplace model, combining the best of remote work and in-person collaboration. The role includes travelling to suppliers and customers worldwide, about four times per year.

You will need 

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics or mechatronics engineering 
• Solid experience in designing power and control electronics
• Fluency in English
